This is what your pic immediately brought to my mind. This is an Egyptian "artefact" of the Ptolemaic period (323 BC - 30 BC).

Just jumping back to the other topic for a sec... I had to laugh at this ad... have you ever seen a more obvious phallic symbolism?

I have been researching if I can make myself a new career as a motorcycle instructor... I can, but the amount of exams and red tape is huge... but, once I get the qualification, I can then open my own school! The real problem is that because of the English weather, schools have a tough time during the winter! So it might not be the best move to make. But it would allow me summer emplyment I suppose...

Ouch!
What's happening wiff our chat... no DHN regular anymore! The chat works, since I'm chatting with other people, but it's a pity I can't introduce you to the guys there! booo ooooooo

There is a very funny and pleasant room, Entente Cordiale (about English wanting to improve their French and French wanting to improve their English), if you ever get the chance... just jump into it. It's very funny. (their "french word of the day" the other day was "bandant"... lol ... meaning "it's so good that it gives ya an erection"! Very useful :P)

I've heard Oz had just played against Roastbeefs... at rugger.... cough cough... it must have been something!!!!

When I read this article (printed in the New York Times !), I couldn't help remembering a certain topic being mentioned here before...

Mind you, they don't say whether the cars are red or not...

Pity they don't say anything about men who own Rangies...

PS : I believe we could replace "German" by French, English, Italian etc etc.

Well, we have been far to sweet and pc on this site for too long I think. Time to shake it up a bit. I want you to tell me (if you dare)and illustrate what you say with a pic or drawing.
Ok tell us all about a surprising erotic incident or experience that may have happened to you, which you did not react to or encouraged or even followed up. That should wake you lot up!

Yes, ok, here is mine. A few years ago, I had been commissioned to photograph a mother and her daughter, who was a girl of 16 going on 22. The daughter was very attractive, and of course she knew it. The shoot was in their home. Anyway, halfway through the shoot, this Lollita decided she wanted to change her skirt and ran upstairs to change. Her mother was in another room doing the same. I then heard her call me to check if what she had chosen was ok. She was standing at the top of these steep stairs wearing an extremely short mini skirt, hands on hips in a provocative, legs apart pose. Now, I did have to look at the skirt, as that was the reason she had called me - and it was immediately plain to see she was wearing nothing underneath. I think my face betrayed my shock as, when I eventually looked back to her face, she was looking directly at me with a very naughty smile. I did not return her smile, determidly keeping my eyes on hers, as I just managing a stumbled and mumbled reply before turning away. I made sure her mother was around for the rest of the shoot! I have only ever deliberately been flashed at by a woman in public twice in my life, and this was the second time. Both times I was incredibly embarrassed and at a loss.

Les Blues have given us the blues... This after the All Blacks kill us. Thought you women would love this image of snorting maleness!

On Saturday night we got a lovely letter from the council denying us the authority, (unless we submit new costly plans) to build a conservatory. We already have planning permission, but we decided to cut costs and build something smaller like this, which normally does NOT require planning, yet they insist anyway, because we made 'material changes'. Trying to ring them this morning and surprise - everyone is in a meeting...

Well done Candles on your hobbit house and the news that you are going to be a celebrity soon! hehe

Sunny groooovy bananas, ewwws DHNettes and DHNers!

I'm just back from my magic corner of Bretagne and just thought of jumping in here for a lil cawffee :)
Our weekend was really guuuud, with excellent surprises with the house, some work on it, and happy times on the beach.

As soon as I was back, I found emails from the author with who I work... and our publishing house is getting crazy for our book! //oO\They talk of new contracts, biz around the book, etc. Shows where we'd sign the book, etc. LOL!!!

I really hope all this will be helpful to introduce them my new tale soon. I really believe in it! **~~*^* *^^* *

Soooo, between my paintings, book series and new tale + my mama's *job* ;-) .... I feel supa busy!!!!
It gonna be a full week...!
How about ewwws, will your week be peaceful, zen, or stressed and busy...?

Seconf cawffee on my way... I run!

Moaning peeps...

Thanks Candles for watching Tim in the final... grumph...

Now it is footy for a month! Roastbeef V Frogs to kick off as well! I don't expect much... a draw would be great... but I think you are going to kill us!

Summer is arriving with sultry weather here, is it raining in Oz yet Penny? The very rich never see the winter do thwey? Except when they go sking... Imagine just flying around the world to find the perfect climate in which to have a drink? In the States, retired folk get in their motorholmes and drive to warmer climes all year around. After all, in the States you can find the best climate within your own country almost at any time of the year. Here is me, pretending to be a 'jet-set' rich bloke on his speedboat... where is my bloody wine?

Bloody kids are spoiled! My youngest complained she had nothing to eat. What about those strawberries in the fridge? What? With no cream to put on them! Oh, sorry...Good grief...

(wavin madly)

It's the weekend, it's the weeeeeeeekend!
(jumping around)
Busy one for us, but busy as in "lots of kewl things to do!"

I will start it by sending the print for which i've got an order the other day. I've received payment today (I worried it would never arrive... just like another false promise). I made my lil invoice and package (hehe, it took me about erm 1 hour!), et voilą!

I know some of ewwws have already celebrated Mama's day (like hmm, you Penny one ;-), but here it's on next Sunday (stooopid it's not the same day everywhere!). We'll spend it with all the mamas of the family. I'm planning to ask the family's men to do everything during lunch. For once! (checking here if Martin reads the DHN sometimes :P Mwaaaahaha!)
Great plan! Fine champ' on the way :P

I wondered the other day how ewwws Alain and Jenny were doing (I know Ariel is doing ok, even though she's not had the happiest times of her life lately).
Jenny, we are used to hear more from you... How are you doing?

Just for Pete's pleasure, I hope to find some new sunnybananas' quizz soon!
So I'll be back!

As you wimmin were so hopeless, here is a picture you might approve of... (waits to hear the sound of multiple...swoons. hehe

Thank God women don't find what we look like all that important. The trouble is, it's tough to get close enough to the woman you fancy long enough to interest her with whatever you have that might interest her, 9if you see what I mean) if you are plug ugly...! Come on, fess up, you take more of an interest in a handsom man first. It's only luck if you ever get to know and like an ugly man. Handsom bastards always get first look in! grrrr

Like Candles, I've searched the net over the last few days to try and find a pic that would capture what I find attractive in the opposite sex using "nakedness" or "suggestiveness" as my guide. And like Candles, I've had no luck finding something.

I'm starting to wonder if this liddle exercise is going to show some of the differences between the way men and women think. Simply because a lot of what Candles wrote echos my own thoughts - I dunno.

I also find "attractiveness" much more in what's "behind" whats in front of my eyes (did that make sense??hehe). Contrived shots of good looking men posing, trying to look sexy and or mysterious go straight over my head. And I don't know if that is because I am a woman or because of where I am at in my life right now.

I think it may have more to do with the stage of life I am in, because several years ago, I don't think I would have had any problem at all finding a pic on the net of a guy whom I found "attractive".

At the risk of sounding like a cliche, I think really, that I am simply so in love and so besotted with the man in my life that the "attractions" of other men (either naked, suggestive or whatever) are completely lost on me in the way you described Pete. I just don't see it.

Now, gimme a pic of GC and my little imagination will be running wild! ;-)

That's not to say that I don't notice if a man is good looking, either in pics or in the street - I do! I'm in love not blind :-). But simply looking at a pic of a good looking man doesn't move or inspire me to think beyond the "noticing" at all.

What catches my eye for longer than two seconds? I would have to say it's when a man displays some form of sensitivity. Like the look in the eyes of a father looking at his child....or a man so totally oblivious to the outside world while talking to his lover, wife, daughter etc.. The physical look (in body and face) a man gets when he is happy - truly happy with who he is and isn't afraid for the world to know. I find it difficult to drag my eyes away from these kind of images simply because of the "passion" I see there.

So really, what I find attractive has nothing to do with nakedness or suggestiveness, it's the passion I see "beneath" the body.

I dunno, sometimes I feel like I am a bit weird because I can't remember fantasing over a pic since I was a teen (Donny Osmond, Michael Jackson and Alice Cooper could have all had me if they had played their cards right!hehe)

If a photo or piece of art of a naked or near naked body grabs my attention, I find myself appreciating it for the perfections I see there rather than seeing anything sexual beyond what I see. I see and feel the sensuality....the sensuousness but not the sexuality.

Working on the porn sites was a real eye opener for me (hooobaby!hehe). I saw a lottta lottta lotttta naked bodies (all of them "perfect" in a societal way) but none of them with any "passion" and very few of them beautiful. It really changed the way I look at porn in our society, while at the same time strengthening my own beliefs in regard to what I find beautiful in the human body.

What we find attractive in the images of opposite sex...
I've looked for hours, could not find one photo that would express what I think really. So far, no luck...
But I'll keep it in mind and look for it.

I'm not completly uninspired by clear opened nekidness visually speaking (lol, what a weird way to say I might like it!). The beauDies of the body can make miracles I believe.
But it's a difficult job for the photographer to capture these beauDies from a male-ish body I think. (Don't you have such photos in your stock, Pete? :P)

Besides beauDiful nekidness, there is a lot that can look attractive to me. Not so much what a man posing on a pic can suggest, because it's over just too much and a bit ridiculous -to me-. But rather what a face and a body hide in dem: exotism (just as being different from my neighbours), cultural difference, the historical past he's unsconciously carrying, etc.
I like to imagine the life of the person on the photo, I find this precisely very attractive (talking of male-ish pics here). What do these eyes have seen? Why does he look sad here? etc.
That's my perception of attrativness here.

(back to my quest for male-ish pics! lol)
