What makes an attractive image of the opposite sex? Nakedness or suggestiveness?
I find this image sexy not for its explicitness. It's attractive and sexy to me for what it 'suggests' rather than what it 'shows' Why?
Is it because she is looking away? Allowing me to look at her in a voyeuristic way? Or because of the way her legs are shown suggestively slightly apart? Or is it because she is reclineing? Probably all of these things, and the fact that she appears to be in an exotic location helps!
Now you have to give me examples of what you find attractive.

Happy Sunny Bananas, ewws DHNettes and DHNers!

How is it going on your corners of the planet?
Before you jump into this stooopid lil quizz below (me, lokking at the word in pink!!!! -rolling eyes!!!!-)... those who have some faith (ermm does that make 10 or 20% of people here? ;-) gotta make a lil prayer for us.
You must pray (take a pen and note that down carefully) so that I "get a call tomorrow cancelling next Sunday lunch". Thank you! I hope it will work!

(oh, "why????" you may wonder... hehe... because on Sunday we have a lunch with a bunch of ex-colleagues... SIGH.... and because the sun is shining, I have other plans in mind.)

I should have posted this in my own blog, but it's too "public", I don't want talking too much about my biz there...

Yet, I wanted to share with ewws a happy biz piece of news.
No I'm not turning into a zillionaire (I've chosen the wrong career for that I fear ;-)...
But I've received an email yesterday evening for an order of a print!!!!!
It's the first order of this kind I get by email!
I'm fookin happy!

The ordered print is from my Lonesome rider painting.
28 euros, shipping cost included :P

There's a very unique feeling -I think-, when you sell something you've created from your own hands. I could get addicted to that!

"When Harry met Sally"

Sally: We are just going to be friends, OK?
Harry: Great, friends. It's the best thing...You realize, of course, that we can never be friends.
Sally: Why not?
Harry: What I'm saying is - and this is not a come-on in any way, shape, or form - is that men and women can't be friends, because the sex part always gets in the way.
Sally: That's not true. I have a number of men friends and there is no sex involved.
Harry: No, you don't.
Sally: Yes, I do.
Harry: No, you don't.
Sally: Yes, I do.
Harry: You only think you do.
Sally: You're saying I'm having sex with these men without my knowledge?
Harry: No, what I'm saying is they all want to have sex with you.
Sally: They do not.
Harry: Do too.
Sally: They do not.
Harry: Do too.
Sally: How do you know?
Harry: Because no man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He always wants to have sex with her.
Sally: So you're saying that a man can be friends with a woman he finds unattractive.
Harry: No, you pretty much want to nail them, too.
Sally: What if they don't want to have sex with you?
Harry: Doesn't matter, because the sex thing is already out there, so the friendship is ultimately doomed, and that is the end of the story.

Monday morning dhn'rs!

Dr Jack's advice of the week:

"How to Get What You Want From a Man"

1/ Men are impressed bu honesty, not manipulation. (If a wife's request gets to complictated, men tend to either forget or lose interest. so if wives can make sincere, short requests, they will love making those requests happen.)

2/ Men love being able to solve tough problems for those they love. If you treat a man like an expert, he will eventually become one. (Ask for things in a loving manner. If there is enough real reward, a man will do almost anything for that reward.)

3/ When you ask a man to do something, be aware that distractions happen. Rather than criticeise, remind them of thier original goal and they will get back on track.

"What men REALLY want"

1/ A man needs to feel strong and needed as a protector for women.

2/ What every wants is for his woman to make him feel that he is strong and head of the houshold.

3/ A man wants to be put on a pedastal, not so that he can look down on everyone but to show him that he is the most important thing to his woman.

4/ A man wants respect, kindness and love.

5/ A man needs his woman to show him that she needs his strength to help her through life.

6/ The man should be the major breadwinner in the family. Every man needs a battle or war to win to prove to himself he is strong and capapble of defeating all of lifes dragons that confront his wife. Taking care of his family by working and providing are his battles.

7/ A man needs enthusiastic approval, appreciatsion and respect from his wife for being a competent man, husband and father.

8/ A man needs his wife to show some interest in his interests, even if its an activity se doesn't like. Just being there is important.

9/ A man needs his wife to care about the day he has had.

10/ A man needs to know that his wife is sexually satisfied by him.

11/ A man needs his wife to greet him after work with love and enthusiasm

12/ A man needs his wife's encouragement in order to be a man.

So endeth the lesson...

The one thing that men are really bad at… answering questions while making love. So you can multi-task...huh!

The youngest was skipping last night (trying to get fit) in a very tight T-shirt and she is a, shall we say, a full figured girl. “I really need a sports bra… and dad? Why are men so interested in boobs, dad, I mean, why?”

Good grief… “Erm, ahhh… well, err, ask yre Mum….” I shrug and concentrate on the pond. Women…

Tales from the rockery...
I planted some lillies in a deeper part of the pond and in just one week the pads have grown up to the surface! F1 growth! I will post a pic next week. The waterfall is begining to take on a natural appearance with weed and algae growth starting to spread. The flowers are blossoming too. Too much rain this w/e to enjoy the garden much though... The fish have been having lots of sex it appeares due to the dozens of small fish swimming around being hooligans. The older fish seem unimpressed! One checked out of the pond permanently last week...
It is very relaxing sitting watching the life of the pond. Pass me my slippers..no, not them...!

In the South Downs of England can be found huge figures carved into the chalk hills. Horses and men. One horse has been dated as being carved about 800 BC. The local population have kept it going over the centuries by clearing encroaching grass. These things are so big that when you walk upon them it is impossible to make out what it is. Other carvings had been thought of as being just as ancient Fertility symbols, as couples who want a child make love upon the huge phallus of the naked aroused man of Cerne Abbas. Unfortunatly for them, it has now been proved it was carved in the 17thcentury as a joke against Oliver Cromewell. Very funny!

Happy new week ewwws DHNettes and DHNers!

How's been your weekend? Lazy, groovy, bubbly?
Ours has been kewl... though we've received our income taxes papers and electricity bills just before. SIGH.
They're just in front of my nose, waiting impatiently, making fun of me with my empty purse!
Grmmmpppphhhh

Now if I forget the papers (which is possible for a a few minutes only), then I see the BeauDiful blue sky outside (the meteo guys had said we'd have heavy rains since days! tsss) and it's simply motivating.
I'm working now on my second book + another painting and I hope to finish all that in the next days. RoaaaaaRRRRR!!!

Talking of beauDiful weather... the media do not talk of it already but I've relatives working in the medical field... and they start telling more and more seriously that we can expect here in France a dryer and hotter summer than last year!
They talk of drought for 2004 summer. Exagerate or not? Dunno, but last year has been a disaster.

(whispering now so that my fookin papers do not hear me!)...
...All that makes me think that I should buy appropriate stuff during my decandent next cession of shopping ;-)
