*passing Jack a big flufffy towel*....there ya go Possum, don't want you catching a chill now do we hmmm?

Ya know, maybe Borneo man has not responded yet because he is out and about on one of his safari type thingies....it's a possibility huh? Count me in on the Malaysia venture....ummm....there'll be flush toilets available on these little journeys right? And plug in power for my hair-dryer yusss? There is no way I'm gonna squat to pee....not that close to the ground anyhoooo ( wayyy to many creeepy crawlies that close to the ground for my liking!) and there is no way I could possibly leave the tent with "bad-hair"!!! tsssss ;-)

I'm soooooo sorry I didn't send that mail sooner....when I found it still here this morning, unsent, I cringed 'cause I knew ewes woulda been waiting for some kind of word....doh!! I was a little spaced out yesterday, actually I was pretty alright with the news for quite a while - then I decided to tell the fam what was happening, mainly because this time the doc seems more concerned than other times when I've had probbies. I've never done that before...explained what was happening with me to my fam....I normally just keep it to myself, thinking if the worse comes to worst then I will mention something. I think I'm finally learning that it's okay to not always be strong....to allow the people who love me....love me. That's kinda amazing rilly....it's not something I would have ever felt able to do a few years ago. While it was difficult talking about that kinda stuff with them.....I feel a lot more "relaxed" in myself now that I've done it. Ahhhh....all the trials of "spiritual" growth really do bring you to a better place in life. :-)) *^**^*^*

Candles....Barbara called in for a surprise visit today (loves those kinda surprises*S*) and was rilly excited to start making plans for when you and Martin are here. Soooooo we've been busy planning bon-fires....sing alongs....visits to rain forests and of course your introduction in to the "wild" outback....yiiiiiippppeeeeeeee!!! :-)))) *^**^*^*** Psssst.....ya know, March+April= about 60 days plus the days in May before you come, soooooo, looking at it like that.....within less than 90 days.....you'll be *here*!!!! *fainting just for the heck of it!!* hehehe

'K.....time for beddy byes, I can hear the ol' ugly fairy approaching and she sounds like she's in a foul muuuud!!! Accck...

Smoooooooooches to all yer bits ('specially the ones that have been *stressed* for me) *^**^**^**** :-)))

I *love* ewes!!!!!!!!

Pssst.....I did the test Jack, I got "5".....I don't even know what "Freixenet" is!!! Perfume??? Beer?? Wine??? Whaaaaat??

Jumping into the water< brrrr. > seems a long time since I swam in here. Sometimes its hard to be chirpy all the time , ‘specially when friends are having stressful times.

So what’s been happening in the land of Jack? Big decision times I suppose work wise. Borneo Man has not bothered to even say F off, (I sent him snail mail btw.) So that is a disappointment. Bummer, I would have really loved to get involved in some way with that sort of thing. Maybe I will do something myself, why not? Well, lots of why not’s really…far too many if I thought about it much. So I am not. You would have to rely soooo heavily on third party individuals thousands of miles away

Been to the major annual photographic trade show ‘Focus’ on Sunday. Took my cheque book along ready to splash out the readies on a new all singing and dancing printer. But didn’t in the end. Why not? Well, a number of manufactures have brought out low cost systems that I feel you will be seeing in newsagents and any number of outlets soon, I think.. These will allow you to pop your digital camera card into them, choose your picture, and then have it printed in about 30 seconds. The terminal is small enough to sit on a shop counter, with touch screen simplicity. A system is cheap at only around 10K. As long as you don’t need big pictures (it can only output 10cm x 15cm) it is fine. How cheap will these systems be in two years time? Cheap enough for the private man? Probably. Film will still be around for longer than we think, but it is only a matter of time before I will be out of business as far as the mini-lab goes. Instead of replacing my printer, I will probably invest in one of these systems to compliment it. I still have another two years to pay of this damn thing anyway, so we shall see then huh? (heading off to Malaysia to start my jungle trek 4x4 adventure holiday venture) I will get Penny to get Ispydit to build me a site to promote it, anybody want to join me in this venture?

One cool stand was showing an Italian designed photo ‘book’ that is fantastic. You give them all the photos you want printed and they turn them into ‘pages’ just as if the book had been published and printed. It looks just like an expensive ‘coffee table book' aimed at weddings but also at family story sort of thing. They create pages digitally with effects and so on, then bind them into book form ect. Very special and very good…and very expensive!!! One large book is about £500. I will give you the web site later for your comments. For me, it would even tempt me to do weddings again…shock! But also for my own portfolio…cheaper than publishing, but just as good. Portraits look fantastic also. It makes the pictures look special, and that is the key.
I think if people can see and feel the quality they can appreciate the value and then pay for it. Not for everyone, but that is also the advantage, huh? Exclusivity.

One more thing…the Agfa stand (bless those Germans) have a lil cartoon goil as their digital cartoon assistant. Long legs and electric red hair. Now why do I like that? At the show she came alive, two of them no less…wearing a ‘sprayed on’ lycra body suit in vivid Agfa colours, that was in fact, a second skin. eeeewwww ahhhhhh Both had superb figures (you just cannot wear that stuff if you have a single ounce (gram) of fat anywhere, I know, I tried hehe) The stand was full of people (mostly men it has to be said strange huh?) I was only looking at the machines….Mrs Jack caught me gawping more than once, she didn’t seem to believe me when I explained I was only looking at the machines behind them……

Is the Queen visiting Bris? Don’t forget…do not sit down too quickly before the national anthem has begun…..Too many sheep in that country eh?

Candy, have you found the men are starting to talk to your chest more yet? Give it another month..hehe

Oh, Jack, great to see your Rover on the first page!!! Great pic, your car seems to be contemplating the landscape :))... I'm trying to check Jeff's page, but so far, I could not reach it. I'll try again tomorrow:)

yuss yussss, almost Friday!!!
(happppy sigh)
I hope you're both having a fantabizooby week....?... How is it going with the Ispydit project, Penny One? (What means Ispydit by the way?)...and you, Jack, busy time at work? I was looking for new pics on your webpage (I'm sure you have muuuch to show (s)... I mean many pics, hundreds of them!!)...I'm very impatient to see more :-))
(my week at work has been very yucckkky, sooo, nothing to tell about it ;-)

I've had news from a good friend two days ago... I told him I was preggie... He was specially happy, he started to talk about babies and told me he would not mind having a baby on his own.... but well, not so easy when you're a single man :)
Now I think of it... any single woman who would really want a baby could rather easily have one... When you're a man, it's not so easy to feel the 'maternity' when you're wife/goilfriend is preggie... when you're a single man... Gawd, you simply can't have real access to this 'maternity' reality !
Again...not that fun to be a man (from a woman point ;-)

On that note, Gulli's ready to burn a few cds! Weeeeeeee:-)))
I Love Ewwws!

Huggggggggles Groooooovsters!! :-))

I thought I'd better pop my nose in to make sure you haven't slackened off in my "not being here" phase....

Awwww.....I feel so "special", Candy offering her sharpest axe (which I *noeee* she treasures) and Jack offering to fly over and rip limbs off....am I loved or what?!?!??? Thanks ewes guys :-)) *^**

Dangnabbit.....I jumped in here to banter a bit with ya's but now I'm sitting here I can't think of one thing to banter about....I hate that! Haaaa well....maybe I'll just leave ya's a bundle of huggggy bits and stuff and jump into teddy bo's....that might be the way to go me thinks. I'm pretty tired actually, I've spent the last 6 hours brain storming webby bits with some friends who are setting up a web business....check it out. It's by no means finished, infact I don't think the bits that were done tonight have been uploaded yet,so if you jump in there it will look even more "not finished" than it actually is *s*.

'K......gotta grab sleeeeeeeep....pssst Candles please don't start getting cravings for any unusual food combinations...I'm on a diet!! hehehe

Jack....have you heard back from Borneo man yet??? You gotta tell us as soooon as you find something out 'k??

With Jack coming to save you Penny and I prowling with my sharpened axe, the MOTM would better not make you see the Life in grey colours anymore...!
By the way, what's the colour of your mood today, Sista? We *neeeed* to know to bring you the proper ingredients ;-))

Jack, you should have done some stretching before starting with the garden! (passing you one of my 100000 creams to heal the pain)
You gotta treat well your body or your body simply takes revenge that way! :P
T'is greaaat you wrote to the guy in Borneo! (you send him an email?)

Ow..Owww..everything hurts..I am all stiff…(steady girls) On Sunday we attacked the garden as the sun was shining and I was feeling fit…arrghh..the pain!!! I think this is worse than any workout.. I am laying a lawn, or I will be when I recover. A stressful weekend, what with France getting away with murder..and no news from Candy at the doc’s, and Penny vanishing. Is she removing someones liver do ya think? I have a feeling, sometimes I do have them, that the MOTM is being, ahem, a man…? Just say the word and Old Jack will change his flight to Oz, after sorting out Candles problems on the way..(how goes the dispute btw?) and then I will get on with ripping limbs apart.

Hey Candles, we can gossip about Penny while she is not here huh? She would never know hmmm?
Now then, is it really true when ya say she is a screamer? Hehe
And what she did in the pool, well ya shocked me I tell ya!
And that thang with the feathers..sheesh!

Mind you, nothing as bad as what she told me YOU get up to…

I wrote to that chap in Borneo btw…said I would be interested in helping him out in some way…silence so far.

Penny…get out of that water and get a job..sheeesh

Sitting slumped in the front room sofa with a hot coffee in my hand early this morning, getting ready to go to work and having deposited the kids at the school gate, but not yet fully energised, I took in a lovely sight. On the window sill in front of me stood a fresh bunch of tulips. The buds were just starting to open, the slender stems springing from within the colourful laquered chinese vase which held them. The Sun was shining brilliantly in that particularly crisp winter light, flooding the room. The window bars cast hard, yet somehow soft shadows over them both. The colours were extrodinarly vivid. The green of the stems and leaves seemingly a solid colour that contrasted sharply with the black and gold decoration of the vase. The whole vision was topped by the delicate, yet vibrant colour of the tulip heads. To capture that energy, that vibrancy, in mere photographic terms would just not be possible. At times like that, I wish I had the talent to pick up some brushes and splash oil paint over a blank canvas to recreate something of that simple beauty.

Wooo...so my post-menopausal male rantings have perked ya up huh? At 50 plus too....hehe

Oh BTW...Happy Birthday to Martin!!!

My rantings? Well, what to do? Sadly my own particular responsibilities and circumstances bind me, as they do everyone else. It is just that I refuse to grow up and act my age and accept mine! To keep the wolf from the door I have accepted this role for the last 12 years, but it is now have to admit, taking an increasing toll. Something really needs to change and I am working on it believe me! I am not made to run in a treadmill, nobody really is are they, but run I do, just like zillions of others. The frustration this grows within me is tempered by the fact that it also provides food for the cat and expenditure for the taxman.

The difficulty is finding the 'second way' That elusive opportunity that can be grasped whilst maintain a steady uninterrupted food flow for the aforementioned cat, and sod the tax man. Cats gets very bad tempered if food is not available, as I am sure you will know.

I have never undertaken any sort of work that I have no interest in. And that includes what I do now. It is just that I have done enough of it, it is no longer enough of a challenge to me, but rather an increasingly obvious and odious treadmill within a cage. Nothing new in this I hear you scream, in fact most everyone would probably say the same about whatever it is they are doing. Perhaps they can accept that in a way I can't. I am simply not ready yet to slip into slippers and sit watching the box.

I am cursed with the body of a rapidly ageing man, his abilities are becoming increasingly at odds with the ambitions of the mind, and the years of active life ahead are now very obviously numbered. The train is approaching the station, the terminus is in sight, and I have not yet finished enjoying the view from the window. The frustration is due to the fact I am not actually sure when that terminus is going to be reached and Mr &Mrs Sodding Fat Circumstance is blocking my view out the window...

The adventure in Borneo appeals greatly to my nature I have to admit. It is something I know I would absolutely love doing. I will actually look into this seriously, even though universal approval and encouragement is not obvious. However, if it could be shown to be a viable alternative, perhaps in tandem to what I am doing now, and the cat can still be fed, then who knows? I will keep you posted for sure.

Ohhh mmm....yusss yusss I totally agree Candles....Jack has everything at his feet ( psst he's 50 now remember....dangly bits drooping et al! hehe). On a more serious note...if that's at all possible but I "will" try *G*....I reckon Candle's idea to talk to this guy about you coming along with him on one of the tours (offering to pay your way of course) is a brilly idea. Who knows where doing something like that could lead, and even if it doesn't lead anywhere well at least you have had the "experience" and it will give you a better idea of what's entailed hmm?

I dunno Jack, it sounds like you rilly *need* to do something....you've been unhappy in your job/business for a long time now....maybe "this" thing with this tour guy will be it, maybe not but perhaps while you are there - away from the confines and stress of yer business - something will come to you. It's not out of the question that you offer something along similar lines for "explorers" to do in your own country....you've told us stories of how you and Rangey have travelled in some pretty "out there" areas. I know it's not exactly the same as what this guy in Borneo is doing but hey...you gotta start somewhere and the possibilities are really limitless...if you look at it from outside the "square" of your normal thinking.

The really really important thing is.....to stop dreaming about it and do it. Opportunity will only ever knock at yer door but it won't ever just walk in (very well mannered is this thing called "opportunity"....must be a Roast-biff hehe) in the end it's gotta be you who grabs it by the short and curlies and does something with it. All you gotta do is instead of looking for the zillions of excuses as to why you can't do it and find the one reason you should and Nike it.....just DO IT. (btw....that's become my catch phrase for most things in life these days ;-) ).

Ohhhhh speaking of Horoscopes.....I have a book that tells "all" about each sign...the Western type not Chinese, I might copy all ours out and see how well we feel they match us huh? Just for fun....'cause we all know it's only ever for fun - unless they say some really nice stuff about us then of course it's "real" hehehe.

'K....I might go do that now while I think of it and before someone arrives to visit ( last night just as I was about to sit down and relax in here and in mails, my bro and sister in law arrived.....waaaaaaa!!).

PS....just a little question thing I found in my women's forum, thought it might give us something to ramble about....

"You can't change what you don't acknowledge."
Phillip C. McGraw - from his Bestseller: "Life Strategies"

What have you recently acknowledged and are ready to change?

PPS....Jack are you wanting Candles or I to paste the DHN you are sending in mail in here for you or do you want them left as simply e-mail?

PSSSS......ohhhh the reason I was sooooo tired last night was 'cause I'd spent the day at a friends and got wayyyy to much sun even though I was sitting in the shade around the pool I still got soooooo sunburnt....I look like an over ripe tomato at the moment!! Not a gooood look hehehe.

'K.......huge smoooooooochies to yer "white" bits :-))) *^**^*^*

I just got your email Jack... You should not be that frustrated, UK is ermm far exotic enough!!! Those crasy cows, these round creatures holding pints and singing songs in unknown dialects... you have just everything at your feet, Dear! hehe... Don't you agree Penny One, hm?!! ;-)
Well, I am not surprise at all that you feel that much attracted with the kind of life this guy leads! I think to enjoy this kind of life, you've not much choice...wether you have enough $$ to pay for adventures, or you work directly in the business... It's already kewl you called the guy actually... That made me think of something... Why not asking this man one day that if he needs a guy to help on such or such tour, for a couple of weeks, you would be really pleased to join. You enjoy the tour and in return you help da guy (cause you have already much experience!)... That would be a very fair deal and it would give you a real view of the business "from within"...:)

Changing topic, completly....hehe......here's why sometimes I can't stand horoscops ;-)
Rooster: inclined to be selfish and forget to consider others, very agressive
Monkey: will not hesitate to lie in order to gain their selfish ends
Goat: lack the determination to carry ideas through alone
Horse: refuse to listen to advice and can be foolish in love
Snake: can be very jealous and possessive, hate to fail at anything
Dragon: their self-sufficiency and self-confidence win them many enimies
Rabbit: avoid confrontation where possible
Tiger: narrow-minded by nature
Ox: bossy and unromantic
Rat: often mean, they try to master their perpetual discontent
Pig: possessive, jealous and exclusive
Dog: frequently cynical and pessimistic

hehe...It's funny how much you never believe in an horoscope that does not tell you what you wanna hear :P

How was your Sunday hm? I spent mine in the most relaxed way, sleeping late, painting, recording music, learning new songs (poor Martin), and litterary dancing for a few hours. After a huge night, I was kinda bursting with energy, I had to 'burn' it:)
The weather is quite shitty since a couple of days, actually we have much rain and I'm in the mood to take a good book, sit near a fireplace, having a glass of champ while joe would sleep on my belly...hehe... Ha well, work is far less cosy :P

Have you followed a bit the Olympic games, hm? They start at midnight here, a bit late... but I'm following ice hockey, lovely sport ;-).. with interesting athletes! hehe

Ohh I've not told you, my mom has had some trouble with the mayor of Jouy (where she lives). It's been the 5th time she went to take her new ID card at the city-hall. As they told her to come back later again, mom got kinda angry and (from what I understand) she insulted them. The mayor finally came to see what was happening and mom threw to her face the papers she had....pheww...The mayor told her she will lodge a complain, mom answered "oh but do it, great, you have all the witnesses around you need!" and she left.
Cops came the day after telling the mayor had lodged a complaint against mom for "assault and battery" !!! //OO\\
hehehe!!!...well, I should not laugh but this is so ridiculous!!!
She has been called to confront the mayor at the "justice palace" on next Friday. I'm determined to convince her to offer excuses. That would be stooopid this goes too far...!

hehe....rilly!! (shaking head)
Now I completly understand her reaction, the French administration is a very baaaaaaad invention, we pay them with our taxes and we have a terrible service! It's not fair! :)

Okies, my Dear ones, work's calling me...(sigh)
Take most precious care of your bits! **~* * *^* *

"Jack-the-pony-schmakker".....waaaaaa.....I love it!!! * rolling around laffin*

Sorry I just had to get that out ;-Þ

The new layout is great Sista.....well, much much better than "just" great but ya know what I mean huh? *s* The colours are purrrrrfect (I love the little red stars on the purrrrrple background!) and the postcard format is simply amazing!!

*hugggging ya for being sooooo darn creative* :-))) *^* *^ ** ^*

*huggging Martin and Wintermute* for the techi part they helped with :-) *^ * *

*^ ^* *^ * * ^* Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you *^* *^ ** ** ^ * to our creative and techi geniuses!!! :-)))

I really like how our little pics "stamp" at the top of each post ( just like a real stamp...duhhhh heh)...'cause that way we know straight away who made it. That's pretty darn cooool (making note to skip into the template...and check how the GURU set this site out *G*).

'K.....well, I'm burning to actually make my first "post" here with all it's new bits and pieces so I'm gonna scoot and do that then check out yer other sites :-)

hehehe wooooo, without the help of Martin, I would have simply destroyed everything around here!

Well here is the new layout...I had thought of something so formal at the beginning...and now it's so much into 'cartoon' style!
.......but....you get pretty quickly used to it....:-))))
Hmm I think it changes from the other blogs around..hehe...t'is a bit goilie, but well, dat's how my mind works after all! ;-)

When we have a lot to type, the postcards get longer than usual, but I think it's fine...:)
Anyway, if you find it too 'cartoon' type, it will be very easy to chose the previous layout! yup!! You just have to tell it!

Ohhhh it was waaaaaaaa...fantastic (!!!) to catch you both online today!!!! *fatty candy* had a lovely piece of news to share hey!! hehe ***~~* *^^* * *
By the way Penny one, Jack did not even feel baaaaad using fatty candy or big moma!! ...huuu....really!! (re-re-re-re-swat@Jack-the-pony's-smaker!)...

Right now I'm soooo tired and not fit to post a letter let alone write something that's half intelligiable. This getting back into the land of the living thing is exhausting!! Especially for an old gal like me....I should be at home knitting or doing the weekly crossword at nights, not out and about on the town, but there always seems to be soooooo many people to do....places to see - know what I mean??
;-)))

Anyhoooo....I'm gonna jump into the sack and hopefully will be around long enough tomorrow to actually sit down in front of Gertie for longer than five mins........waaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Btw.....not catching up with the MOTM this weekend, but it's all guuud :-) So I'll be able to jump into 22 yiiiiipppeeeeeeee!!!
....been practicing my new steps and I reckon by the end of the month I'll be entering the World Latin Dancing Championships!! hehe

Blogg musings

Trying a bit of reverse encouragement to my youngest sprog this morning with regard to putting in more effort in her homework. "You don't want to end up like yre dad, do you?" I told her, as I admitted to her that I had hardly worked hard enough when her age. The usual heavy sigh and sulk did not appear and she seemed to take on board a little of what I was trying to tell her. We nag and moan at her to put some effort in, but this only appears to have the reverse effect, getting her moody and sulky. She is a happy go lucky girl who is more practical than studious. To her, the problems of exams are a long way away It is a worry, because they are not..she is fifteen this year Our eldest sprog has taken to doing an hour study at the dinning room table of an evening, and I think this is showing her that maybe she does have to a bit because she can see her big sis working. We have almost gone to war over her not working and studying the latest MTV rather than anything else. Never mind the state of the bedrooms they inhabitdon't get me started! The stress levels in the house can get high I tell you! Girls, like females in general, can take revenge on you in so many ways that mere males find so hard to counterstamping of feet and sullen disobedience to name just two. With a boy, a good kick up the bum is usually enough

Oh Penny, just what sort of wooly hat did you think made you look soooo coool in that pic of you..taken in a photo booth?

Candy, thanks for your suggestion regards the guestbookit worked! It now sits at the top of the page! And your friend Arnouldvery swish web site huh? And a man who likes big bikesmakes me wish I had my old bike backMrs Jack is not happy with me racing around on one though....I am working on her to get another bike one dayI said we should go and bike across America before we expire! She has not said NO yetnot in so many words, not definitelyhehe

Brilliant!! I start with the postcards then, it should be done in a couple of days :-))
Many changes in your website Jack! The colour of the main page, the guestbook (not that we had begged for it, but almost! hehe), the new pics in Jack's Bar!!! Waaaaaa...the three of us are definatly a creative bunch!
Hmm, while I was asking myself what was the beauDiful oriental object (I thought it could have been a pipe hehe)...I saw in the url of the page that it was an arabian dagger :-))... What a splendid dagger!!!
ohhh, I was to forget that...maybe in the future you might add titles with the photos....dunno...:)

Waaaaaaaaa for the idea of the postcards!! I love it!!! Rilly....it sounds soooooo purrrrrfect for us yusss? Hmmm...for the colours, I have no real preference, you're the *colour* Guru here Sista and I trust completely your "tastes"....whatever you feel is right will suit me. I can hardly wait to see what you come up with :-))) *^**^*** Only one thing for the layout, I think the width of the actual "post area" could be wider than the one we are using now....there's a lot of wasted space on this layout don't you think? This is all soooooo exciting....just think two years ago (well almost) it all started as a bit of a fun e-mail thing and now we are calling executive meetings for our web design!! Next we'll be going into print!!! *fainting!!!*

(waving from work)
Such a beauDiful weather outside, a shame to be in!
The room in which we settle is actually named 'Catch 22', Jack, and Penny and I are there often at the same time on weekends, mostly... The rest of the time, if you're lucky enough you might found one of us relaxing there quite regularly :P

My mind has been boiling about our DHN blog 's layout...
First I thought that the DHN could look like a formal newspaper, but it was just too too...I dunno...not exotic enough. Then I thought our messages could appear in bubbles which would come out of a champ bottle...hehe... but bubbles, circles are not the best to use, the result is not so good on the screen.
Then I thought our messages could appear on a movie film (the negative), you know... instead of images there would have been our posts..but it was a bit too black and white, and too 'cinema'...
Then I had other ideas, very girlie, which would not have suited really the DHN.

I finally thought of something relatively simple that could suit the shape of the screen and the spirit of the DHN. Each message we post would appear as a postcard, with a stamp on it, a stamp different for each of us, instead of the "adress" there would be our signature and date of the post...something like that... and around the postcards, in the background, we could put something reminding Oz, UK and France maybe.
I like the idea of the postcards, well, cause it's fun, cause it can be technically done (I hope!) but also because it would separate well the messages and be easy to read...
Dunno...
What you think?
If you have other ideas, I'm greedy for dem, if there is something you really want in the background or layout, pulease tell me... oh and the colours, which main colour would you like for our blog?
In case you're inspired about the postcards *style*, I'll start working on it tonight (ermmm with the help of Martin, ;-)... But, I (lazy goil) just prefered to have your opinion before :P

My cold? Having vacationed in my head for a couple of days it then went sightseeing down to my chest, taking excursions along my arms, legs and back, before settling in to annoy my throat. From where I am hoping to evict it shortly... (ouch)

About yre poem...sooooo...let me get this right....a woman only realises what use a man is to her after 40 huh? So size doesn't matter until it matters hmmmm? And after all the hoops ya send us jumping thru during our formative years, the only thing really is in fact the thing? And when ya finally realise what we have been trying to tell ya since our teens, when the penny eventually drops, when the scales are removed painfully from your eyes, what do you find? You find Droopy Harry, thats what.! Struggling bravely to attention, our prime over, spent, we are castigated for lack of enthusiasm, staying power, and for still not knowing where that damn 'G 'spot is. Battered in our youth for having our brains in our balls, we are condemned in our fading years for wilting performance. That pink tutu is looking better by the min....

Phewww...I almost thought a devil had come to die my hair during the night...
I had not read most of your last messages here cause I thought the 'last' post was the one who appeared on top (as it appears on the lower frame of the blogger)...And actually nenene... the first post of the day appears on top.... you follow me? hehe....
.. it is my opinion, and I'd get easily used to the logic of our present blog (now I've ermm caught its subtleties ;-).... but don't you think it would be more logic that the last message one of us posts appears on top of the page?..
(I think we'd have to chose in the settings 'reverse chronologically" instead of "chronologically")

What Penny does not tell ya is that very often women of 16 and women of 43 really look for the same *thingie* at the end...what can it be huh? :P
from Candy Froggie
7:21 PM

Gotta post this little poem a gal pal just sent me....especially after reading your thoughts on "women" Jack :-Þ

A story of a woman who just turned 43 years old:

When I was 16, I hoped that
one day I would have boyfriend.

When I was 18, I got a boyfriend, but
there was no passion. So I decided I needed a
passionate guy with a zest for life.

In college I dated a passionate guy, but he was
too emotional. Everything was an emergency, he was
a drama queen, cried all the time and threatened
suicide. So I decided I needed a guy with stability.

When I was 25, I found a very stable guy, but he
was boring. He was totally predictable and never got
excited about anything. Life became so dull that
I decided I needed a guy with some excitement.

When I was 30, I found an exciting guy, but I
couldn't keep up with him. He rushed from one
thing to another, never settling on anything. He did
mad, impetuous things and flirted with everyone he
met. He made me miserable as often as happy. He was
great fun initially and very energetic, but directionless.
So I decided to find a guy with some ambition.

When I turned 38, I found a smart ambitious guy
with his feet planted firmly on the ground and
married him. He was so ambitious that he
divorced me, took everything I owned, and ran
off with my best friend.

I am now 43, and am looking for a guy with a big dick!

I can soooooo relate to this!! hehehe

oh hey..wot? no post?

Hi my friendly two...*looking up from chest hight*

Soooo...the afterlife...deep huh? That later. And schoolboy seduction by an older woman...abuser or fantasy comes true? (in the news at the moment) I once was a boy..no rilly, I was.. stop laughing and let me give you the benefit of my hormones..if I can catch them...'cause I can...they don't run as fast as they used too..*G*

Young Jack's views on girls..

Aged 13
Girls? Oh them soppy annoying things..why do they want to play Doctors & Nurses? *jumping onto my bike, grabbin my sword and heading for adventure*

Aged 14
Girls? Oh THEM! *throwin bike into shed and jumping into tent to play D&N*

Aged 15
Hmmmm..they do feel nice and soft and smell better than Piggy Smith...(bike, what bike?)

Aged 16 WooooHaaa, oooo aahhhh *gives hand a part time job*

Aged 17
Girls do not seem to have heads, personalities or any redeeming feature apart from...tits, bums and legs.

Aged 18
A relationship? What's that? Oh...regular sex...*bike replaced by parents car*

Aged 19
Traumatised to discover that regular sex is NOT the only thing some girls want from a man.
*car springs need replacing however*

Aged 20
Attempts mature responsible monogamist relationship. *rediscovers bike*

Aged 21
Discovers new girls are more interested in a 'new' relationship if found to be already in a 'relationship'... *discovers depression*

Aged 22
Gives up trying to please and understand women. *discovers drink as a diversion*

Aged 23
Reaches almost the same level of maturity as 13 year old girls. *jumping on my bike, grabbin my sword and heading for adventure*

Aged 24 onwards...
Continuing the never ending quest to satisfy the conflicting, diverse, and downright Machiavellian demands of the female gender...with little hope...but always willing to be surprised..*G*

The seductress. A young teacher. She has been acquitted of seducing two brothers aged about 14...So she didn't do it...yeah right. The lads are making a fortune selling the story. The politically correct please close your eyes now. No boy in his correct hormones would refuse such an offer. End of story.

So why are girls different? I have seen the writing on the girl's toilet walls...and they are much, much worse than the boy's walls.... (don't ask how) The PC crowd tell us that girls have 'crushes' think in 'romantic terms' and boys just think 'lust'..is this true? Not in my experience ...I lost my virginity through the lustful endeavours of a girl, a pawn in her hands *g*... We men certainly wield the 'weapon' so to speak..is this why we are castigated?

Had a man been accused of this..he would have been thrown into jail...for a long time and rightly so. The woman walks. Something not right here. As a boy, I would have been a hero...but as a girl, a victim. Answers please on the back of a brown envelope to the drunks at the back of the bar..they solve all of the worlds probblems ..

The afterlife.

Watched a soppy Williams film the other night.."When dream come true" I think the name was. Anyhoo, it seems the mind lives on in our own Heaven when we die according to this. Suicides live on in their own Hell. God is who we make him. I think.. I exist... therefore I am. Soul-mates can find each other and be what they want. Even in death. Nice images, but come on...really! People say that the mind lives on and they even site hauntings as proof. Why is it then that at the most horrific scenes of inhumanity where tens of thousands have been murdered, no sign of otherworldly presence is perceived? Where are the ghosts? Huh? Much as I would like to think we retain our own 'sense' after death...I don't think so. Does this make me miserable? No, not at all. In fact, I would go so far as to say the less some people spend in looking towards death than in actually living might help one or two. We are here, now, we should make the best of it. For we are a long time dead.

Here endeth the sermon.

Jack

Ps As we were talking about death...

A man was leaving a cafe with his morning coffee, when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby
cemetery. A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind.

Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a pit bulldog on a leash. Behind him was a queue of about 200 men or more walking in single file. The man couldn't stand the curiosity.

He respectfully approached the man walking the dog,

"I am so sorry for your loss, and I know now this is a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this. Whose funeral is it?"

The man replied, "Well, that first hearse is for my wife."

"What happened to her?"

The man replied, "My dog attacked and killed her."

He inquired further, "Well, who is in the second hearse?"

The man answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my wife when the dog turned on her.

A poignant and thoughtful moment of silence passes between the two men.

Then suddenly the man asked !!!

"Can I borrow the dog?"

"Join the queue."

Jack,
....did you have your tongue pointing the right way when you "cut and paste" from word Possum? 'Cause it should work...well not even should...it does work. I very rarely write directly onto the page in Blogger....most of what I do, I do in Notepad then cut and paste it over and I just made a post in my own blog from Word and it worked fine. Ummm....you did "cut" it before you tried pasting it didn't you??? hehehe
